Writing a Halloween story (8th, 15th, 22nd October)

It's nearly that time of year! And what better way to celebrate it than given children the opportunity to write their own spooky stories! Whilst the emphasis of each lesson will be on story-writing, character building and atmosphere developing, key curriculum skills, crucial to the 11+ exam and SATs will also be taught, such as:

- ensuring a use of different sentences types

-  including figurative language to help bring the story to life
